Buying guide

What our technicians check before recommending a product — adapted to the local climate, power grid and usage.

Choosing a surveillance camera

  • 4 MP is enough for most shops and villas; go for 8 MP (4K) for car parks and large yards.
  • ColorVu technology keeps a colour image at night, useful where street lighting is weak.
  • Prefer a PoE IP camera: one cable for video and power, backed by a UPS.
  • IP67 is a must outdoors: heat, dust and the rainy season are unforgiving.

Choosing a router and Wi-Fi

  • A MikroTik router handles several internet providers and fails over automatically during outages.
  • For a hotel or office, managed ceiling access points (Omada, Grandstream) beat a single powerful box.
  • Wi-Fi 6 is the right standard in 2026; Wi-Fi 7 pays off in very busy venues.
  • A captive portal lets you sell or offer guest Wi-Fi access with vouchers.

Satellite internet: who is it for?

  • Remote sites, building sites, plantations or areas without fibre: a satellite kit brings broadband within hours.
  • For businesses, it also works as an automatic backup link when fibre goes down.
  • The V4 Business kit supports automatic failover with a MikroTik router.
  • We install the dish, the mount and the indoor network anywhere in Cameroon.
