FAQ
How does a business network installation work?
It starts with an on-site technical visit: we survey the premises, run a Wi-Fi coverage study and list your uses (workstations, telephony, cameras, TV). We then size the network and send a detailed quote. Once approved, our technicians install the cabling, rack, switches, router and access points, then test and document every port before handover.
What Wi-Fi should a hotel in Cameroon install?
For a hotel, we install PoE ceiling-mounted Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 7 access points managed by a central controller. Guests connect through a captive portal in the hotel's branding, on a VLAN kept separate from staff, cameras and the PMS, with 802.11r roaming so the connection holds from one floor to the next.
What is structured cabling and why does it matter?
It is the set of cables, outlets, patch panels and racks that connect every workstation, Wi-Fi access point, phone and camera to the core of the network. We install certified Cat6A and fibre in patched and labelled 19-inch racks: clean cabling prevents most faults and makes any future change easier.
Can you take over a badly installed existing network?
Yes. We audit what is in place on site, keep what is sound and redo the rest: cabling, rack, VLAN segmentation, MikroTik router, Wi-Fi. The quote states clearly what is replaced and why.
Our site has no fibre: what are the options?
Satellite internet can serve as the primary link or as a backup. With a MikroTik router, failover between fibre and satellite is automatic, and the Dual-Kit plan balances the load across two kits for sites that cannot afford any downtime.
Do you work outside Douala?
Yes. We are based in Douala and work across Cameroon, including Yaoundé, Kribi, Limbe, Buea, Bafoussam and the other cities we serve. The quote sets out the on-site arrangements for your location.
